May all beings be joyous and free, and may we begin by liberating our self from the patterns of the past, balancing the masculine and feminine within us and revealing our immensely brilliant capacity and gifts to share with each other.
Currently residing in Toronto, with a vast amount of skills on her tool belt, Serah is serving the community within this vibrant city and beyond through yoga, breathwork and ritual. Introducing to Toronto the power of Breath, and integrating the work within the Body by guiding in her most potent way the daily practice of yoga. Serah envisions a thriving community that lives from a core of love in harmony with each other and the planet.
Serah's fascination with the body moved through dance and circus arts training into yoga. A dedicated yoga practitioner for over fifteen years, she first studied Massage Therapy at the Swedish Institute in New York City, obtaining her certification at the 1200-hour level in 1997. This led to her expanding her studies in Montreal by 2000 to include the many topics found within Natural Health; Sound Healing, Vibrational Medicine, Subtle Body, Personal Development, Herbs & Nutrition, Environmental Health, Soul Retrieval and Shadow Work. Simultaneously as she studied the many layers of the physical body, she dove into spiritual training with the discovery and healing of the feminine, completing a 2-year Priestess Path Apprenticeship in 2001. Her zeal and energy blazed the path to Motherwave Work, where Serah began her lifetime commitment to breath by completing her Breathwork practitioner training in San Francisco by 2003.
With over a decade of deep, transformational work and study behind her, Serah in Montreal, with an established private practice in Massage Therapy, began to expand her services to include Breathwork and Womens Empowerment and Healing Circles. She began to establish a community of individuals intent on transforming the wounds of the past and reconstructing new possibilities within themselves. This led to a spiritual journey in 2010 to India, where she completed meditation and yoga training, obtaining from the Ashiyana Yoga Center in Goa her certification. She also studied various branches of the practice via intensives on Iyengar, Integral, Vipassana, Kundalini and Ashtanga.
This world traveler and trailblazer ended up in Toronto by the end of 2010, where she was then introduced to the Anusara Yoga path. Serah then dove into the alignment principles of this path of the heart, studying with many senior teachers of Anusara and completing Therapy Training, Immersions and Teacher Trainings by 2011. Her work as a facilitator and guide will always be a transformational tool to support the vibrational shift necessary to live fully in embodied spiritual connection.
